Matt Sinclair

Assistant Professor, Computer Science sinclair 'at' cs 'dot' wisc 'dot' edu

As an undergrad, in addition to running, I played on the Men's Club Volleyball team, which I was previously the Webmaster for. I have also served as the Eta Kappa Nu - Theta Chapter External Relations Officer & Publicity Coordinator. As a member of the Undergraduate Programmers Laboratory (UPL), I helped with an enhancement project to the Coke machine in the CS building. I am also an Eagle Scout and when I go back home I serve as an Assistant Scoutmaster. I also enjoy spinning, playing baseball, swimming, and many other activities and sports. As an avid sports fan, you can often find me rooting on my beloved, World Series-bound Milwaukee Brewers.

I have programming experience in CUDA, OpenCL, Java, Verilog, VHDL, C, C++, Java, HTML, and Matlab. As a graduate student I have interned at Qualcomm (in the ASICS Design group) and NVIDIA Research (in the Architecture Research Group). At Illinois I work in the Professor Sarita Adve's research group, which is part of the Computer Architecture group at Illinois.
