Enjoy..
Summer 2009 Internship with Microsoft
I spent the summer of 2009 interning as a software development engineer on the Microsoft Office Publisher team. I have accepted a fulltime position to return back to Microsoft and Seattle with a tentative start date of June 14, 2010.
Summer 2008 Internship with Amazon.com
I spent the summer of 2008 in Seattle as a Software Development Engineer Intern with Amazon.com. I was classifying various search personas and tracking their shopping habits.
Hobbies
I used to play trumpet with the UW-Jazz Ensemble and with the Wisconsin Singers. I also played Eb cornet with the 1st Brigade Band.
I have started diving into the world of amateur photography lately. I currently shoot with a Nikon D40 and a couple kit lenses but hope to upgrade once I’m out of school.
Career goals
I used to say I wanted to go into a field known as bioinformatics, a fairly new field in the computer sciences. However, after spending a couple summers hacking away in industry, I’m convinced I would be happy with any sort of software development position as long as I get to work with a great group of people.
