Tennis anybody?

Hi,

Any tennis fan out there who watched the French Open women's final today?
What an incredible match! Iva Majoli, a 19-year-old from Croatia, has
become the first-ever player from her country to win this prestigious
Grand Slam title, and finally broke the unbelievable winning streak
of the Swiss prodigy, 16-year-old World No. 1, Martina Hingis this year
(37-0 before this match). This was the biggest upset in the history
of Grand Slam finals in the Open era. But to say the truth, Majoli was a
queen today, far outshining the other star of the match. Her victory
is much well-deserved!

Despite being an underdog in her first-ever Grand Slam final, she totally
dominated the match, and to my big surprise, she was very agressive on court
and served extremely well. She moved the World No. 1 around, and attacked
savagely with her forehands whenever she could. Hingis looked down during
the match, and got more and more nervous as the final rolled by. I think she
seemed to underestimate her opponent after beating the three-times champ
Monika Seles in the semi-final. She might also get tired physically and
mentally after a 37-match unbeaten run. She is a great player, but still
has to prove that in the near future.

BTW, I'm really glad to see a new champ from the "Eastern bloc" after
Monika Seles!

Cheers,

-Thanh
