Storyline

Sam Brenner, Will Cooper, Ludlow Lamonsoff, and Eddie "The Fire Blaster" Plant all played classic arcade video games as teenagers. But now they have to use their skills to try to save the world from aliens. The aliens watched video feeds that they thought was a declaration of war. So they send down the classic arcade games to destroy earth. They also get help from a military specialist. They have three lives and if all three get used then earth will be destroyed, and every time they lose a live the aliens take someone's life. Who will win, us or the aliens? It's an all-out battle to save our planet and everyone on it. Written by Alex Tanner

Goofs

Corporal Hill wears a uniform that is out of date. Modern British Army uniforms have their rank tabs on the front of their jackets not on the shoulders. The credits claim that the character is "SAS" (Special Air Service, a British Special Forces Unit) - the beret badge is incorrect for SAS and the beret is green, SAS berets are a 'sand' colour. Really disturbed by bad rating and reviews... It was great!
24 September 2015 | by (Reston, VA) – See all my reviews

I sort of knew when I read the first few reviews that this was going to be a good movie. My roommate and I decided to go see it and he was really not interested. Kept commenting that anything under 7.0 is pretty much a waste. After seeing Ant-Man (which is a 7+), I quickly told him to reconsider.

We loved it. The story was predictable but really not as much as I thought. The games and action was great. I'm really tired of seeing blood and gore in films. This is family friendly! Adam has his expected humor and while it's nothing to cry about, it's funny. Definitely don't feel like I wasted my time with this. 10 out of 10 to balance things out, but definitely an 8.
