Storyline

This film is about a legend that has been started by the town folk of Cold Rock. Since the children in the town have been going missing, people have said it's an entity known as 'The Tall Man' who has been taking them. Julia Denning (Jssica Biel) is the local nurse whose husband died years earlier. She is soon personally involved as her child is taken. She tries to track down where the child is taken, but finds that there's more to what's happening than she knew. The towns-folk start to turn on her and the truth comes out. But there's still more to the story - who is 'The Tall Man'? And what is the truth behind the disappearances? Written by U.N. Owen

Amazing movie!
2 August 2012 | by (Bulgaria) – See all my reviews

I recommend this movie to all my friends because nowadays it is impossible to get excited and surprised by a Hollywood production-everything is so cheap and obvious,no thrill,no thinking and imagination.Just simple stories for weak minds to understand while eating popcorn and drinking Coke.So about the movie-it is brilliant!I think about it as three stories (two of them clichés and one original),mixed perfectly. The twists in the movie are unpredictable and you don't have a clue to what happens till the very end.The acting is superb, very believable and real. The dilemma that you face is disturbing and makes you think about it long after the end credits.Just watch this movie!
