In the wedding scene, the yellow tartan worn by Rose as bridesmaid is a McLeod Dress tartan. The men are of course wearing the traditional MacKenzie pattern. See more »

Goofs

When the honeymoon inn emcee is announcing the newlyweds, the first word he is heard saying is "Folks," but his lips don't start moving until the second word, "to." In fact, he ends the same sentence in the repeated words "folks," so this was probably a mistakenly repeated word when the monologue was re-recorded for the film's audio. See more »

Charlie Mackenzie: Excuse me, miss? There seems to be a mistake. I believe I ordered the *large* cappuccino. *Hello!* Look at the size of this thing.
Tony Giardino: It's practically a bowl.
Charlie Mackenzie: It's like Campbell's Cup-O'-ccino!
Charlie Mackenzie: [laughing at his Campbell's joke and wiping his tears] Oh, My sides. Please. Aidez-moi.

Did you marry Mrs X?
6 July 2000 | by (minniapolis) – See all my reviews

Mike Myers gives Waynes World a rest and delivers what I think is a better movie.... well better than Waynes World 2 anyway. It is a truly great movie with Mike playing a duel role, firstly as Charlie MacKenzie a young guy who is scared of commitment to women, then his dad Stuart MacKenzie a very funny Scotsman who could take the lead role in X Files with his ideas on Conspiracy. Nancy Travis stars as a butcher... Harriet, who ends up with Charlie..... A great movie that is very funny in the pre Austin Powers age, a 7 out of 10.
