Trivia

According to Dave Chappelle on The Oprah Winfrey Show (1986), a scene was written during filming in which his character was to wear a dress while disguised as a prostitute. Chappelle adamantly refused. The writers complained to the producers who then tried to convince Chappelle to do the scene but he still refused. According to Chappelle, he felt that it was part of a disturbing trend in which African-American men wear dresses in films. See more »

SO FUNNY
1 November 2000 | by (tuscaloosa, alabama) – See all my reviews

HILARIOUS! HILARIOUS! HILARIOUS! That is all I can say about Blue Streak. Martin Lawrence and David Schapell did an excellent job acting together! Martin did an excellent job playing his part. When he lied(throughout the entire movie) it looked as if it was coming right off of the top of his head in a real life type situation. If you want a good laugh or two for an hour and a half, you HAVE to see this movie.
