Storyline

Spoiled rich sisters, Taylor and Courtney Callum, have had it made. Their father owns a successful dairy that allows them to live comfortably. They can have anything they want: the latest designer clothes, cool cars, and an endless supply of money to spend. One day, the sisters end up ruining their house kitchen and their father has had enough. He sends the two to work a summer job at his dairy hoping it'll teach them responsibility and the value of a dollar. However, problems emerge when the dairy goes broke and it's up to the girls to decide: give up their selfish ways and save the dairy? or sit back and watch the company fall to pieces? Courtney Callum: Oh, my gosh! That's exactly what Taylor said. Am I really that bad?
Heather: Well, yeah... but I mean, why wouldn't you be like that? Your life has been a perfect fairy tale.
Courtney Callum: [shocked] You're right.

Just not that good
28 June 2014 | by See all my reviews

Taylor (Aly Michalka) and Courtney Callum (AJ Michalka) are spoiled materialistic débutantes. Courtney has her expensive cotillion ball coming up. Taylor has nice car. Then the girls' irresponsibility burn the kitchen. Their dad (Jack Coleman) sent the girls to work at the family dairy business to learn some values. They are horrible at their jobs and worry more about themselves. While their father is away, the dairy gets into trouble after a lot of money disappears. The girls have to put aside their selfishness and save the business without their father.

Simply put, the production looks poor and the girls are too selfish for too long especially Courtney. The girls are good enough actors for a simple Disney TV movie but don't expect much more. Their house is not nice enough for the girls to be that spoiled. They don't look outrageously wealthy but they certainly act like it. Courtney is just too annoyingly clueless for far too long in the movie. There are too many things in this movie that seems to be tone deaf. It's not that good even considering the lower expectations.
