The girls of St. Trinians are on the hunt for buried treasure after discovering headmistress Miss Fritton is related to a famous pirate.

In order to save their bankrupt school, a group of troublesome girls stage a robbery with a group of geniuses on their tails.

These schoolgirls are more interested in racing forms than books as they try to get-rich-quick. They are abetted by the head-mistress' brother, played by Alastair Sim, who also plays the head-mistress.

The hellions of St. Trinians are recruited to a sheik's harem. Little does he know what he's letting himself in for.
