My Poetry

Here is some poetry I have written. All published poems are so noted.

The wind is whispering through my body
"Come hither" it cries
"Pledge fealty and I can make way for the sun"
My body rides the wind's shuddering, enjoying its cold guffaws
I let out my own chuckle and find my soul escapes with it
Do I even want to see the sun?
My lost soul, the wind's cold might, and its disorientation
Ah the damned disorientation
The south wind calls now, to be replaced by the entire compass
"Come hither" echoes more voices than I decipher
"Come hither" for the joy, for us, for yourself, for golden rays!
"Shut up" I am sick of the howling
yet my soul is floating on its freezing fury
I must follow a wind.
To foci of the Earth they may go, I must follow one
All promise the sun, all offer gentle guffaws, all happily freeze
and steal my soul, and I....
I call for the lightning bolt to break apart the wind and sweep
me to Valhalla

The Plea of a Lost Youth

I cry
I cry at my childhood removed from me
At that boy sent off to the sea
No choice but to be other me's

I lie
I lie so all of man can hear
To bestow all with my fear
So I may then force their tears

I cringe
I cringe what others force me do
"No other way, it is the only you"
Now needed, to see a day new

I whine
I whine about this old rhyme
That I am made into crime
I'd love to die,
if I could find the time
