News! I officially started my first semester as a PhD student.
Past news: My first paper, Indexing Join Inputs for Fast Queries and Maintenance, was accepted to BTW 2025 (Bamberg, Germany).
I am a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, co-advised by Dr. Goetz Graefe and Prof. AnHai Doan. My research focuses on database systems, esp. indexing techniques.
I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Peking University with a thesis on Immanuel Kant's theoretical philosophy under the supervision of my long-time mentor, Prof. Zengding Wu.
I enjoy reading novels, writing (a very small collection in Chinese that I made public), Yoga, and biking.
I served on the Graduate Advising Board and spoke at the CS Dept Graduate Student Orientation. I often participate in local housing legislations and advocate for pro-housing agenda as a Madison resident.
