StatsGuru Filters for Keith Andrew

Profile:

Keith Andrew was a competent county 'keeper who had the misfortune to represent England only twice - and each time to find himself on the losing side in heavy defeats. He conceded just three byes in a 500 plus total in his last Test. He found himself out of favour with the selectors due to his batting ability or lack thereof - his first class career average was just 13.38 - and because of the presence of the redoubtable Godfrey Evans. Always tidy if not spectacular behind the stumps, he also captained Northamptonshire for five years with some success. He was made an honorary member of the MCC after retirement, and for a period was NCA director of coaching (DL, 2000).
