StatsGuru Filters for John ShepherdProfile:During his cricketing career, John represented Barbados, the island where he was born, and played for the West Indies on five occasions. He has also played cricket for Rhodesia, now known as Zimbabwe. Between 1965 - 1980 John spent the English summer playing for Kent, and from 1981 - 1989 he was a Gloucestershire player.In Australia John spent two seasons playing Grade cricket for Footscray in Melbourne, and won the Ryder medal for his performances during the 1976-77 season. Following his playing career, John spent seven years as the cricket professional at Eastbourne College in Sussex, England, and in March 1998 was appointed the Regional Development Officer for the Americas region, based at the West Indies Cricket Board in Antigua.
