Profile:

[2000/01 Season] Chris Harris is undoubtedly New Zealand's most popular one-day cricketer. Batting at No 7 'Harry' has become the master of the final ten overs. He is renowned for turning matches with frantic batting, miserly bowling or outstanding athleticism in the field. Harris is the only New Zealander to play more then 150 ODIs. Against the West Indies last summer he showed outstanding form, averaging 69.00 with the bat and taking eight wickets at 21.12. In The National Bank one-day series against the world champion Australians Harris topped the Kiwi batting, averaging 54.00.
