Pictures of Jacob Oram
Profile:[2000/01 Season] Jacob Oram is a bowling all-rounder who plays his cricket in the mould of a young Chris Cairns. He has played just two One-Day Internationals, the final two matches in The National Bank Series against Zimbabwe in January. He averaged 21.00 with the bat and bowled nine overs without a wicket with an economy rate a little over 4. Oram is a tall, broad cricketer and a powerful stroke maker. At 22 years of age he is relatively inexperienced and his call-up was preceded by a number of injuries to incumbent players. Regardless he did not let his talent down and is seen as a bright light for the future. |
