Profile:

Graeme Cunningham is another player to migrate south from Sydney to try and break into the Canberra Comets side for the 1998/99 season. He is a hard hitting right handed batsman, currently with the Ginninderra West Belconnen side. Cunningham had played with the Petersham-Marrickville side in the Sydney grade competition from 1993/94 to 1997/98 when he moved to Canberra. He made a 76 off 66 balls in the first match against New South Wales at Manuka and was the leading run scorer for the Comets in the 1998/99 season. In addition he played for the Bradman XI against the touring English side at Bowral. 1999/2000 marked Cunningham's appointment as captain of grade side Ginninderra West Belconnen. Cunningham played for the New South Wales Under 19 side in 1993/94 and played for the New South Wales Colts side in 1994/95 and 1995/96. (Adam Morehouse, November 1999)
