Articles about Brett MulderProfile:Brett Mulder now aged 35, started playing representative cricket with the Young Australian side, which played England in 1983.From 1983-1986 he played regular cricket for Western Australia with the likes of current Australian coach Geoff Marsh, Michael Veletta, Graeme Wood, Bruce Reid and Tim Zoehrer. A 6 for 25 against Victoria at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in 1986 being the only highlight in a disappointing period that lead to his dropping from the Western Australian side. After 10 years absence Mulder came back against New South Wales in the season of 1996-97 and took an amazing 5 for 2 and 6 for 65. Mulder again was disappointing in the 1998-99 season and was limited to only a one game for the Western Warriors. He did, however, feature strongly in the Perth "Smoke Free" league final. Mulder and team mate Matt Garnaut put together a record breaking 177 run, 10th wicket partnership in Bayswater-Morley's second innings. Mulder and Garnaut, leading Bayswater Morley to a 1-wicket victory was undoubtedly Mulder's greatest highlight of that season. (Patrick Dean, August 1999) |
