Profile:
Enamul Hoque has been serving in the national squad as a specialist left-arm off-spinner and a left-handed lower order batsman. His domestic career data is superbly enriched. For countless occasions he became the leading wicket taker, including the present 2000-2001 session when he amassed 57 wickets to become the highest wicket taker.
He is the kind of the bowler who can bowl at tight length to make the batsman tedious. His statistical record would not give an exact picture of his talent. As he has experiences in International arena, he was included in the squad that headed for Zimbabwe in April 2000.
Enamul's dream came true when he put on the test cap for his country in the second test against Zimbabwe. The veteran all rounder did not upset his fans in the spin-favored track in Harare where he picked up 3 wickets. With bat in his hand he looked quite comfortable too.
Staying in BKSP now for National team's camping, the 35 year-old Enamul is still keeping his fitness and willing to contribute for his country for at least next two years in International level.
He already proved himself good at his job in the longer version of the game. That is why the selectors did not give a second thought to include Enamul to the team that are going to take part in the Asian Test Championship.
