Profile:

Jason Swift is migrated south from Sydney during the 1997/98 season to Canberra to try and further his representative career. He was selected in the ACT side that competed in the 1997/98 Australian Country Championships at Mount Gambier. Following the championships he was selected in the last match of the season against Queensland. A dependable middle order batsman he has been a constant member of the Comets side since. Swift played with Hawkesbury in the Sydney grade competition after moving from Muswellbrook in 1991/92. He currently plays with the Queanbeyan side in the ACTCA grade competition where he is captain. Prior to playing with the Canberra Comets, Swifts only representative cricket was with Muswellbrook where he played for their Colts side and the senior representative side.
