Pictures of Chris HartleyProfile:This is his first season with Northern Suburbs, having previously played with University. As a junior he had represented Brisbane South in the Queensland Junior Cricket Association's intra state competitions but was not able to make himself available for state representative teams. He represented Queensland Under 17 in 1997-98 and Queensland Under 19 in 1998-99, 1999-00 and again this season. He was a member of the Australia Under 19 team for the Under 19 World Cup played in Sri Lanka. He represented Queensland Secondary Schools in the Carbine Cup against New South Wales Schools in 1998-99. In this current season he was the Queensland Colts wicket keeper for the Sydney Gregory Cup match against New South Wales Colts played at Hurstville. As well as cricket he played Australian football and rugby and was also a swimmer of some note but has now decided to concentrate on cricket. His father is engaged in the construction industry, living at Maroochydore at the time of his birth. He was educated at Kenmore State School and at Brisbane Boys College.
