Profile:
A one-Test wonder, but what a Test it was! A surprise selection for
the 2nd Test against Richie Benaud's Australians at Kanpur in 1958-59,
off-spinner Jasu, Jasu took 14 wickets in the match, to win India the
Test. His 9/69 remain India's best Test bowling figures to date. That
was Jasu's last series; his success in that Test was not
replicated.
