Profile:
Although playing a few tests Dermot Reeve has been increasingly
regarded as a one day specialist, but is one of the best in that
role (described by Wisden as the most effective one day cricketer in England). With the bat he adapts his style and shots to
the game situation well, and can improvise brilliantly. He has
mastered the art of containment in his bowling, and gives up few
runs. He is also the innovative and thoughtful captain of a very
successful Warwickshire team, and brings a wealth of experience
to the England squad.
