Pictures of Chris RogersProfile:Ginger-haired and tenacious, Chris Rogers possesses a fine cricketing pedigree. His father, John, represented New South Wales in Sheffield Shield competition in the late 1960s and later became a highly respected administrator, ultimately assuming a post as General Manager of the Western Australian Cricket Association. As for the young left handed batsman himself, his own future has looked promising ever since the time that he was selected for the Australian under-19 team in 1996. He is a fine player of both full and short pitched bowling and also uses his feet well to spinners, albeit that he has yet to cement a permanent berth at the first-class level. He continues to be one of Perth grade cricket's most prolific scorers and many observers believe that he still retains an excellent chance of becoming a regular member of the Warriors' side at some time in the near future.
