Profile:Adam Huckle, on his return to Zimbabwe after seemingly being lost to South Africa, has established himself as a Test class leg-spinner. His father played first-class cricket for Rhodesia in 1966/67, and Adam grew up in Zimbabwe, moving to South Africa to attend University. After initial success with Eastern Province, and selection for the South African under-24 team in 1995, he returned to Zimbabwe in 1997 after losing his place in the Province team. His return to Zimbabwe sparked a return of bowling form and the start of a succesful international career, taking 5 wickets in his first test match. He is an attacking bowler, bowling flighted leg-breaks with considerable turn and a well disguised googly. He tends to bowl more loose balls than his fellow leg-spinner, but also will beat the bat more often. As such he is possibly better suited to Test cricket than the one day game. (John Ward and DL, 1999).
