Profile:
He toured England in 1936 as reserve wicketkeeper to DD Hindlekar and
got his chance to play in the second Test at Manchester. But KR
Meherhomji achieved little of note in what turned out to his only
Test, remaining unbeaten with zero on his only innings and holding one
catch to dismiss the England captain `Gubby' Allen off Amar
Singh. Meherhomji played for many years for the Parsis in the Bombay
Quadrangular and Pentangular tournaments.(Partab Ramchand)
