PROFILE The rig is up! Bouygues Offshore travels the world to build, install, and maintain onshore and offshore oil and gas industry structures and equipment. The company provides oil and gas platforms, barges, pipelines, subsea flowlines, and storage tanks for liquefied natural gas. Bouygues (pronounced "bweeg") Offshore also takes on oceanic and river-related civil works projects such as oil wharves and gas terminals. Its maintenance services utilize infrared thermography and vibratory analysis to detect equipment problems before breakdowns occur. More than 95% of the company's sales are in Africa and Europe.
