PROFILE Green cards are no longer green, but they are high-tech thanks to Drexler Technology. The company makes LaserCards, wallet-sized recordable optical data cards that permanently store electronic text, graphics, photos, and security marks such as fingerprints and holograms. The tamper-resistant cards store data and can display information on a computer. The US Immigration and Naturalization Service uses Drexler's cards, and other applications include storing health records, providing security access, and enabling e-commerce transactions. The company's top two customers account for more than 95% of sales.
