Evans & Sutherland Computer (E&S) knows how to fake it. Customers use E&S's hardware and software to produce realistic 3-D graphics and synthetic environments for simulation, training, and virtual reality applications. Products include desktop graphics subsystems, visual systems for flight simulators, and digital projection systems for planetariums. E&S's customers include the military, NASA, PC makers, laboratories, film studios, and museums. The US and UK governments account for about 40% and 15% of sales, respectively; nearly half of those are from contracts with Thales and Lockheed Martin, which has filed a breach of contract lawsuit against E&S.
