 PROFILE
As the second-largest lip care product in the US, behind American Home Products' Chap Stick, Blistex would like to gloss over its competition. The company's Blistex lip care products include ointments, balms, and medicated items. In an effort to expand its brand portfolio, Blistex has added new products to its existing brands and acquired new product lines, such as Stri-Dex acne treatments and Dairy Ease (lactose-free milk and supplements aiding the digestion of dairy products). Blistex products are sold mostly through supermarkets and drugstores in the US and more than 75 other countries. The Arch family has owned and operated Blistex since founding it in 1947.
