PROFILE Umanis (formerly Europstat) is bringing the Old World into the digital age. The French information technology services firm generates 65% of its revenue by providing Web services such as strategic consulting, e-commerce application development, content production, and data management. Umanis also offers technical services in areas such as wireless application protocol and client relations and call centers. Among the company's 400 clients are Crédit Lyonnais and Société Générale. Umanis also has established an incubator unit to develop new technologies.
