PROFILE Catching a wave, Petroleum Geo-Services is riding the high tide of high oil prices again as it provides marine seismic data for oil exploration companies. It also offers onshore surveying and provides oil and gas production management services, mainly in the North Sea and Gulf of Mexico. Geophysical services include acquiring and processing 3-D, 4-D, and 4-C seismic data; data storage and retrieval; 4-D reservoir imaging; and reservoir characterization studies. The company operates more than 20 seismic vessels and has four floating production, storage, and offloading systems.
