PROFILE RPC wants to grease the wheels of oil and gas production. The company provides oil industry consulting and technical services, including snubbing, coiled tubing, and well control, through its Cudd Pressure Control subsidiary. Another subsidiary, Patterson Services, rents specialized tools and equipment such as drill pipe, tubing, and blowout preventors. RPC also provides storage and inspection services for offshore and inland vessels. The company spun off its Chapparal Boats subsidiary (which had accounted for more than 50% of sales) as Marine Products Corporation. Chairman and CEO R.
