Weetabix Limited
 PROFILE
Weetabix has been part of Great Britain's breakfast for nearly 70 years, and the cereal maker now sells its dry flakes and muesli in more than 70 countries worldwide. Its breakfast cereals, including Weetabix, Weetos, Crunchy Bran, and Alpen, among others, fight it out on store shelves with Kellogg's and Nestlé/General Mills joint venture Cereal Partners for a stake in the $1.2 billion cereal market in the UK. But a cereal killer is drowning sales -- more Britons are skipping breakfast. Such changing habits have triggered a price war among cereal makers, and Weetabix has launched new packaging to attract younger buyers. Weetabix is controlled by the founding George family through CEO Sir Richard George.
