Cutting Construction Chaos
Jun 04 2001 12:00 AM PDT

 PROFILE
Baugh Enterprises spreads its limbs over the Pacific Northwest as the region's top contractor. The company, founded in 1946, provides general construction and management services for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects on the West Coast. Commercial buildings account for more than half of revenues, with projects including Boeing Commercial Aircraft Group's headquarters and for clients such as Microsoft and AT&T. Skanska U.S.A., a subsidiary of top Swedish contractor Skanska, has acquired Baugh Enterprises, which was owned by its employees. The firm will continue its operations independently under current management.
