Business Summary
AAON, Inc. engineers, manufactures and markets commercial rooftop air conditioning, heating and heat recovery equipment, air conditioning coils and air-handling and condensing units. Its products serve the commercial and industrial new construction and replacement markets. As of December 31, 2000, virtually all of the Company's sales have been to the domestic market, with foreign sales accounting for only 2% of sales in 2000. The Company operates its wholly owned subsidiary, AAON, Inc. (AAON-Oklahoma), which is engaged in the manufacture and sale of commercial rooftop air conditioners and heating equipment. The Company's other wholly owned subsidiary, AAON Coil Products Inc., owns most of the assets of Coils Plus Inc., which manufactures coils used in the Company's products, as well as air-handling and condensing units introduced in 1998.

Financial Summary
AAON engineers, manufactures and markets commercial rooftop air conditioning, heating and heat recovery equipment and air conditioning coils, serving the commercial and industrial new construction and replacement markets. For the six months ended 6/30/01, net sales rose 8% to $81 million. Net income rose 16% to $7.4 million. Revenues reflect increased sales to the Company's entire customer base. Net income also reflects increased gross profit margins.
