The Company's Metal Forming Segment designs, manufactures, and sells a variety of metal handling and metal forming products. The Company's Metal Products Segment manufactures a variety of metal products including flexible metal hose and grey iron castings.

Financial Summary

Mestek, Inc. operates in three business segments: Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning Equipment Manufacturing; Metal Products; and Metal Forming. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues increased 17% to $190.9 million. Net income from continuing operations decreased 22% to $4.7 million. Revenues reflect higher sales from acquisitions. Earnings were offset by costs associated with acquisitions and $774 thousand in restructuring charges.
