Business Summary

International Game Technology is a manufacturer of computerized casino gaming products and operator of proprietary gaming systems. Since its founding, IGT has principally served the casino gaming industry in the United States. In addition to its production in the United States, IGT currently manufactures its gaming products in the United Kingdom and through a third party manufacturer in Japan. IGT also maintains sales offices in selected legalized gaming jurisdictions globally, including Australia, Argentina, New Zealand, Peru, South Africa and The Netherlands. The Company also maintains a service office in Brazil. IGT provides gaming products in every significant legalized gaming jurisdiction in the world.

Financial Summary

International Game Technology is an operator and manufacturer of computerized casino gaming products and proprietary gaming systems. For the nine months ended 6/30/01 revenues rose 47% to $903.3 million. Net income increased 51% to $158.5 million. Revenues reflect an increase in domestic replacement sales due to higher replacement demand, and higher income from gaming operations. Net income also reflects higher margins due to product mix.
