Lan Chile S.A. is a provider of domestic and international passenger and cargo air services in Chile. The Company serves 15 destinations in Chile, 17 destinations elsewhere in Latin America and seven destinations in the United States, Europe and the South Pacific. The Company has a fleet of 13 wide-bodied aircraft, 24 narrow-bodied passenger aircraft (excluding two Boeing 737 passenger aircraft the Company sub-leases to Lan Peru S.A.) and eight freighter aircraft.

Financial Summary

Lan Chile S.A. provides domestic and international passenger and cargo air services. The Company serves several destinations including 15 in Chile and 17 elsewhere in Latin America, and seven throughout the World. For the three months ended 3/01, revenues increased 6% to $393.2 million. Net income before US GAAP decreased 9% to $23 million. Results reflect increased passenger income, offset by the higher aircraft fuel expenses.
