Boots & Coots International Well Control, Inc. is a global-response oil and gas service company that specializes in responding to and controlling oil and gas well emergencies, including blowouts and well fires. Through its participation in the proprietary insurance program Wellsure, the Company provides lead contracting and high-risk management services, under critical loss scenarios, to the program's insured clients. The Company also provides snubbing and other high-risk well control management services, and markets oil and hazardous materials spill containment and recovery equipment and a varied line of industrial products for the oil and gas industry. In addition, the Company provides environmental remediation services to the petrochemical, chemical manufacturing and transportation industries, as well as to various state and federal agencies.

For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues increased 76% to $21 million. Net income from continuing operations applicable to Common totalled $15 thousand, vs. a loss of $8 million. Results reflect the success of the risk management product ``WELLSURE'', and lower interest expenses.
