Standex International is a diversified manufacturing and marketing company with operations in three product segments: Food Service, Industrial and Consumer. For the fiscal year ended 6/30/01, revenues fell 6% to $600.2 million. Net income fell 10% to $24.9 million. Revenues reflect an economic slowdown in the automotive sector and customer efforts to reduce inventory levels. Net income also reflects the absence of a $1.7 million unusual gain.
