(NCI), is developing products utilizing cell selection technology in cell therapy for cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The Company previously operated two other biotechnology subsidiaries engaged in the discovery and development of biopharmaceuticals, Innovir Laboratories, Inc. and Vimrx Genomics, Inc., both of which have ceased operations.

Financial Summary
Nexell Therapeutics is biopharmaceutical company developing products utilizing cell separation technology in cell therapy for cancer and other life-threatening diseases. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenue rose 4% to $9.8 million. Net loss applicable to Common fell 26% to $14.1 million. Revenues reflect increased sales of raw materials to a manufacturer. Loss also benefited from more focused research and development efforts and lower personnel expenses.
