Coca Cola Enterprises Inc. is a Coca-Cola bottler that conducts its business primarily under agreements with The Coca-Cola Company. These agreements give the Company the exclusive right to market, distribute and produce beverage products of The Coca-Cola Company in authorized containers in specified territories. The major products of The Coca-Cola Company and its subsidiaries that the Company marketed and distributed in North America in 2000, included Coca-Cola classic, diet Coke, Sprite, caffeine free diet Coke and Minute Maid and diet Minute Maid soft drinks. In Europe, the top five brands that were marketed and distributed by the Company in 2000 were Coca-Cola, diet Coke, Fanta, Coca-Cola light and Schweppes.

Financial Summary
Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc, markets, distributes, and produces bottled and canned beverage products for The Coca-Cola Company. For the six months ended 6/29/01, revenues increased 2% to $7.46 billion. Net income applicable to Common decreased 67% to $29 million. Revenues benefitted from improved volume in the United States and Europe. Net income was offset by higher in S/G/A expenses as result of increased infrastructure costs.
