Financial Summary
Omnicom Group Inc. operates advertising agencies which plan, create, produce and place advertising in various media. The Company also offers marketing consultation, market research, sales promotion programs, public relations and other services. For the six months ended 6/01, revenues rose 15% to $3.35 billion. Net income fell 9% to $246.6 million. Results reflect higher domestic revenues, offset by the absence of a $110 million gain from the sale of Razorfish shares.
