Business Summary
CTC Communications Group Inc. is a single-source provider of voice and data telecommunications services. The Company targets predominantly medium- and larger-sized business customers that seek greater capacity for voice and data traffic, a single provider for their telecommunications requirements and improved levels of service. The Company's services include local telephone services, long distance telephone services, high-speed data services, Internet services and Application Service Provider service. CTC has built an extensive Internet Protocol (IP) network infrastructure supported by the Company's PowerPath Network. CTC became registered as an official Internet Service Provider (ISP) in early 2000, which enables the Company to deliver Internet access to its customers as part of its PowerPath Network converged services offering.

Financial Summary
CTC Communications Group is a full-service Integrated Communications Provider (ICP) delivering converged voice, data, Internet and video solutions to medium and large business customers. For the comparable six months ended 6/30/01, revenues rose 48% to $142.1 million. Net loss applicable to Common before extraordinary item and acct. change rose 77% to $66.2 million. Results reflect the addition of new customers, offset by higher S/G/A and interest expenses.
