Mercury Air Group Inc. provides services to the aviation industry through five principal operating units: fuel sales and services, cargo operations, fixed-base operations, United States government contract services and RPA Airline Automation Services, Inc. Fuel sales and services include the sale and delivery of fuel. Cargo operations consist of cargo handling, space logistics operations and general cargo sales agent services. Fixed-base operations include fuel sales, into-plane services, ground support services, aircraft hangar and tie-down facilities and maintenance at certain locations. Government contract services consist of aircraft refueling and fuel storage operations, base housing maintenance, base operating support services, air terminal and ground handling services and weather observation and forecasting services performed principally for agencies of the United States government. RPA, a subsidiary, includes airline revenue accounting and management information software.

Financial Summary
Mercury Air Group, Inc. provides a broad range of services to the Aviation industry through four principal operating units: fuel sales and services, cargo operations, fixed base operations and government contract services. For the nine months ended 3/01, revenues rose 46% to $363.4 million. Net income before extraordinary items rose 42% to $3.2 million. Revenues reflect increased volume of fuel sold and higher prices. Earnings were partially offset by increased cost of sales.
