Strayer Education, Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary Strayer University, is a regional proprietary institution of higher education that offers undergraduate and graduate programs at 14 campuses in D.C., MD and VA. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues increased 15% to $47.5 million. Net income applicable to Common rose 6% to $13.4 million. Results reflect increased enrollment, partially offset by increased instruction and educational support expenses.
