Its long-term strategy is to create an integrated set of solutions centered on information protection, availability and storage management that enhance and simplify network computing as a whole.

Financial Summary
Legato Systems is a worldwide leader in enterprise storage management software. LGTO's products enable information continuance, a seamless approach to the movement, management, and protection of data. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues rose 4% to $123.6 million. Net loss rose 17% to $20.6 million. Revenues reflect increased subscription to support contracts and renewals of software support contracts. Higher loss reflects restructuring charges.
