Carlisle Companies Incorporated is the holding company for Carlisle Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiaries. The Company manufactures and distributes a wide variety of products across abroad range of industries, including, among others, roofing, construction, trucking, automotive, foodservice, industrial equipment, lawn and garden and aircraft manufacturing. It has four industry segments, which include Construction Materials, Industrial Components, Automotive Components and General Industry. The Company markets its products both as a component supplier to original equipment manufacturers, as well as directly to end users.

Financial Summary
Carlisle Companies, Inc. manufactures and distributes products for the roofing, construction, trucking, automotive, foodservice, industrial equipment, lawn and garden, and aircraft manufacturing industries. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues rose 4% to $953.6 million. Net income fell 89% to $6.4 million. Results reflect increased Construction Material segment sales, offset by $37.7 million in restructuring charges.
