Business Summary
HEICO Corporation is a manufacturer of Federal Aviation Administration-approved jet engine replacement parts. It is also a manufacturer of certain electronic equipment for the aerospace, defense and electronics industries. Through the Flight Support Group (FSG), the Company uses proprietary technology to design, manufacture and sell jet engine replacement parts for sale at lower prices than those manufactured by OEMs. In addition, FSG repairs, refurbishes and overhauls engine and aircraft components for domestic and foreign commercial air carriers and aircraft repair companies, and manufactures thermal insulation products and related components primarily for aerospace, defense and commercial applications. Through the Electronic Technologies Group, the Company manufactures various types of electrical equipment, including electrical power supplies, back-up power supplies, electromagnetic interference and radio frequency interference shielding and infrared simulation and test equipment.

Financial Summary
HEI, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the design, manufacture, and sale of aerospace products and services throughout the United States and abroad. For the six months ended 4/30/01, revenues decreased 20% to $81.4 million. Net income fell 1% to $8.7 million. Revenues reflect the sale of the Company's Trilectron subsidiary. Net income reflects increased marketing and goodwill amortization expenses and a higher allowance for doubtful accounts.
