Scientific Learning Corp. develops, markets and sells proprietary, neuroscience-based software and other educational products and services, designed to increase human learning and performance, including language and reading skills. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues rose 15% to $8.2 million. Net loss fell 2% to $10.9 million. Results reflect a greater number of school districts purchasing the program, partially offset by higher administrative costs.
