ITC/\DeltaCom, Inc. provides integrated voice and data telecommunications services to mid-sized and major regional businesses in the southern United States, and is a regional provider of wholesale long-haul services to other telecommunications companies. The Company operates its business in three segments. Through its retail services operations, the Company provides local telephone services, long distance telephone services, data services, Internet services, customer premise equipment sale, installation and maintenance services and related telecommunications services. Through its broadband transport services operations, the Company sells wholesale long-haul telecommunications transmission capacity to, and direct and transport telecommunications traffic for, other telecommunications companies, using its fiber-optic network. Through its e/\deltacom operations, the Company provides customers with colocation services, managed services and professional services.

Financial Summary
ITCD provides long distance services to mid-sized and major regional businesses in the Southern U.S. and is a regional provider of wholesale long-haul services to other telecommunications companies. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues rose 28% to $208.2 million. Net loss before extraordinary items applicable to Com. increased 85% to $60.9 million. Results reflect continued growth in local, data and Internet services, offset by higher employee related expenses.
