For the 24 weeks ended 6/16/01, net sales rose 8% to $309.9 million. Net income rose 20% to $14.8 million. Revenues reflect strong growth from the Merrell and Harley-Davidson lifestyle footwear brands. Earnings also benefited from higher margins due to a sourcing realignment.
