Men's Wearhouse is a specialty retailer of menswear in the United States and Canada. At February 3, 2001, the Company's United States operations included 538 stores in 42 states and the District of Columbia, primarily operating under the brand names of Men's Wearhouse and K&G, with approximately 28% of the Company's locations in Texas and California. At February 3, 2001, the Company's Canadian operations included 113 stores in 10 provinces operating under the brand name of Moores. The Company's stores offer a broad selection of designer, brand name and private label men's business attire, including a consistent stock of core items (such as navy blazers, tuxedos and basic suits).

Financial Summary
MW is an off-price retailer of men's tailored business attire. As of 02/01, the Company operated 538 stores in 42 states and Washington, DC, and 113 Canadian stores. For the six months ended 8/4/01, sales increased 3% to $601.8 million. Net income decreased 22% to $23 million. Revenues reflect an increased number of stores in operation. Net income reflects increased S/G/A expenses as a percentage of revenues due to continued infrastructure investments.
