Business Summary
Eastman Kodak Company is engaged primarily in developing, manufacturing and marketing imaging products and services. The Company operates in four segments. The Consumer Imaging segment deals with photographic film, paper, chemicals, cameras, photo processing equipment, digitization services and photo-processing services. The Kodak Professional segment derives revenues from photographic film, paper, chemicals and digital cameras and graphics film products, sold to the Kodak Polychrome Graphics joint venture. The Health Imaging segment 's business focus is on medical film and processing equipment. The Other Imaging segment derives revenues from motion picture film and microfilm equipment and media, printers, scanners, document imaging software and consumer digital cameras and media. The Company's products are manufactured in a number of countries in North and South America, Europe, Australia and Asia and are marketed and sold in many countries throughout the world.

Financial Summary
Eastman Kodak Company primarily develops, manufactures and markets consumer, professional, health and other imaging products and services. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues decreased 4% to $6.57 billion. Net income fell 77% to $186 million. Revenues reflect lower sales in the consumer business due to deteriorating economic conditions. Earnings reflect lower gross profit margins, restructuring costs and higher interest expense.
