Financial Summary
MHP is a multimedia publishing and information company which employs a broad range of media, including books, magazines, newsletters, software, on-line data services, CD-ROMs, fax and TV broadcasting. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues rose 11% to $2 billion. Net income before acctg. change fell 7% to $140.4 million. Revenues reflect growth from the Education segment. Earnings were offset by costs associated with Web facilities and services.
