Aurora Foods, Inc. is a producer and marketer of premium branded food products including Duncan Hines baking mix products, Lender's bagel products, Mrs. Butterworth's and Log Cabin syrup products, Van de Kamp's and Mrs. Paul's frozen seafood products, Aunt Jemima frozen breakfast products, Celeste frozen pizza and Chef's Choice frozen skillet meals. The Company's brands are among the most widely recognized food brands in the United States and have leading market positions. The Company groups its brands into two general divisions: the dry grocery division and the frozen foods division.

Financial Summary
AOR produces and markets premium food products such as Duncan Hines baking mixes, Log Cabin and Mrs. Butterworth's syrup, Van De Kamp's and Mrs. Paul's frozen seafood. For the six months ended 6/01, revenues increased 1% to $503.5 million. Net loss before accounting change applicable to Common fell 51% to $17.4 million. Revenues reflect new product introductions. Net loss reflects the inclusion of $3.1 million in transition income vs. $26 million in expenses.
