The Company's solution is a comprehensive, end-to-end PKI framework designed to assure the security of electronic transactions and communications over advanced networks, including the Internet. Its open, scalable software solution operates across multiple platforms, network devices and applications. The products that constitute the core of the Company's PKI solution include Entrust/Authority, Entrust/RA, Entrust/AutoRA, Entrust/Roaming, Entrust/Timestamp and Entrust Electronic Identities.

Financial Summary
Entrust, Inc. develops, markets and sells products and services that allow enterprises to manage communications and transactions over advanced networks. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues rose 5% to $61.5 million. Net loss totalled $529.7 million, up from $25.6 million. Results reflect increased market awareness and acceptance of product offerings. Loss reflects a $327 million charge for the impairment of goodwill and other purchased intangibles.
