Business Summary
Arrow Financial Corporation is a bank holding company that owns two nationally chartered banks in New York, Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company, Glens Falls, New York, and Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company, Saratoga Springs, New York, as well as two non-bank subsidiaries, the operations of which are not significant. The Company, through its subsidiary banks, offers a full range of commercial and consumer financial products. The banks' deposit base consists of deposits derived principally from the communities that the banks serve. The banks target their lending activities to consumers and small and mid-sized companies in the banks' immediate geographic areas. Through its banks' trust departments, the Company provides retirement planning, trust and estate administration services for individuals and pension, profit-sharing and employee benefit plan administration for corporations.

Financial Summary
Arrow Financial, a bank holding company, owns two nationally chartered banks, and several non-bank subsidiaries. For the six months ended 6/01, total interest income rose 8% to $39.5 million. Net interest income after loan prov. rose 10% to $20 million. Net income rose 13% to $7.3 million. Net interest income reflects increased interest and fees on loans and a higher net interest margin. Net income also benefited from increased income from fiduciary activities.
