Business Summary
Cooper Cameron Corporation is an international manufacturer and provider of pressure control systems, equipment and services, including valves, wellheads, controls, chokes, blowout preventers and assembled systems for oil and gas drilling and production used in onshore, offshore and subsea applications. Cooper Cameron is also a manufacturer of integral engine-compressors, reciprocating compressors, turbochargers and centrifugal air compressors. The Company's operations are organized into four separate business segments, Cameron, Cooper Cameron Valves, Cooper Energy Services and Cooper Turbocompressor, each of which is also a division.

Financial Summary
Cooper Cameron Corp. manufactures oil and gas pressure control equipment, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, integral and separable reciprocating engines, compressors and turbochargers. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues rose 7% to $739.5 million. Net income increased 18% to $34.1 million. Revenues reflect an increase in Cooper Cameron Valve sales and Cooper Energy Service sales. Earnings reflect lower depreciation and improved gross margins.
