Versata, Inc. provides a suite of software and services that enable customers to rapidly deploy e-business software applications that can be modified quickly to meet constantly changing business requirements. For the six months ended 6/30/01, total revenue fell 9% to $21.9 million. Net loss fell 4% to $34.9 million. Revenues reflect decreased professional service and support fees. Lower loss reflects the effects of the Company's cost cutting initiatives.
