McKesson Corporation, formerly known as McKesson HBOC, Inc., is a health care service and technology company that delivers unique supply and information management solutions that reduce costs and improve quality for its health care customers. The Company is organized under two operating segments. Within the United States and Canada, the Health Care Supply Management segment is a leading wholesale distributor of ethical and proprietary drugs, medical-surgical supplies and health and beauty care products principally to chain and independent drug stores, hospitals, alternate care sites, food stores and mass merchandisers. The Health Care Information Technology segment delivers enterprise-wide patient care, clinical, financial, managed care, payor and strategic management software solutions, as well as networking technologies, electronic commerce, information outsourcing and other services to health care organizations throughout the United States and certain foreign countries.

Financial Summary
McKesson Corporation is a health care supply management company. The Company also provides software solutions, technological innovations and comprehensive services to the health care industry. For the three months ended 6/01, revenues increased 20% to $11.65 billion. Net income applicable to Common rose 66% to $105.4 million. Revenues reflect growth in the Supply Solutions segment. Earnings also reflect an increase in gross margins.
