Business Summary
The Coca-Cola Company is the largest manufacturer, distributor and marketer of soft drink concentrates and syrups in the world. Finished beverage products bearing the Company's trademarks are sold in nearly 200 countries and include the leading soft drink products in most of these countries. The Company also markets and distributes juice and juice-drink products. The Company maintains business relationships with three types of bottlers: independently owned bottlers, in which the Company has no ownership interest; bottlers in which the Company has invested and has a non-controlling ownership interest; and bottlers in which the Company has invested and has a controlling ownership interest.

Financial Summary
The Coca-Cola Company is a manufacturer, distributor and marketer of soft drink concentrates and syrups, and also markets and distributes juice and juice-drink products. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues rose less than 1% to $9.77 billion. Net income before acct. chg. totalled $1.99 billion, up from $868 million. Revenues reflect an increase in worldwide unit case volumes. Net income also reflects the absence of a $405 million write-down charge and a $466 million realignment charge.
