Business Summary
Grupo Tribasa S.A. de C.V. is a Mexico-based construction company specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects, public and other civil works and in industrial construction. Tribasa's infrastructure construction business is predominantly under government-sponsored concession programs, in which a subsidiary or affiliate of the Company undertakes to arrange financing, build and operate a facility, and is then entitled, for a specified period, to receive revenues generated by the facility. Through 1994, Tribasa developed and built highways under the Mexican government's highway concession program. Beginning in 1995, Tribasa has been building toll highways under concessions in Chile and Ecuador. Tribasa has also undertaken concession projects for other types of facilities, including ports, railways, airports, water distribution and treatment systems, waste management facilities and parking facilities, most recently exploring similar opportunities in power stations.

Financial Summary
Grupo Tribasa is a Mexican holding company engaged in construction of large-scale civil works, infrastructure and industrial facilities, the maintenance and operation of highways, ports, railways and airports, and other public services. For the fiscal year ended 12/31/98, revenues rose 28% to Ps5.05 billion. Net loss according to U.S. GAAP fell 45% to Ps2.18 billion. Results reflect increased construction revenues and reduced losses on the Toll Road Rescue Program.
