Computer Sciences provides information technology services through: outsourcing (operating a customer's technology infrastructure); systems integration (designing, developing and implementing information systems); and IT and management consulting services. For the three months ended 6/29/01, revenues rose 10% to $2.71 billion. Net income fell 50% to $47.7 million. Results reflect the expansion of the end-to-end I/T services, offset by increased labor costs.
