KeyCorp is an integrated multi-line financial services company with consolidated total assets of $87 billion. KeyCorp's subsidiaries provide investment management, retail and commercial banking, consumer finance and investment banking products and services through four lines of business: Key Retail Banking, Key Specialty Finance, Key Corporate Capital and Key Capital Partners. Key Retail Banking delivers a complete line of branch-based financial products and services to small businesses and consumers. Key Specialty Finance provides indirect, non-branch-based consumer loan products, including automobile loans and leases, home equity loans, education loans, and marine and recreational vehicle loans. Key Corporate Capital offers a complete range of financing, transaction processing, electronic commerce and financial advisory services. Key Capital Partners provides asset management, employee benefits services, brokerage, investment banking, capital markets and insurance.

Financial Summary
KEY is an integrated multi-line financial services company that provides commercial and retail banking and other fnc'l services to corporate, institutional and individual customers. For the six months ended 6/30/01, total interest income rose less than 1% to $3.04 billion. Net interest income after loan loss provision fell 19% to $890 million. Net income before acct. change fell 87% to $82 million. Results reflect loan growth, offset by the absence of a $332 million divestiture gain.
