its
subsidiaries
collectively
represent
the

investor-owned
water
system

Connecticut

operating

its
core
regulated
water
business
the
Company
offers
related
services
on
a
contract
basis
to
other
water
utilities,
communities,
businesses
and
homeowner
associations
through
a
number
of
unregulated
subsidiary
companies
and
through
a
joint
venture
with
a
well
pump
service
provider.
These
services
range
from
one-time
contracts
for
a
particular
service
to
long-term
arrangements
for
water
and
wastewater
system
operation
and
management.

is
also
engaged
in
selling
and/or
donating
its
limited
excess
real
estate
holdings
that
are
not
necessary
for
its
business
or
to
protect
its
water
