Probex Corp. is a Dallas-based energy technology company specializing in environmental services that has developed and patented its environmentally beneficial ProTerra lubricating oil technology for reprocessing, purifying and upgrading used motor oils. ProTerra has demonstrated advantages in the highly economic creation of premium quality base oils capable of meeting new motor oil standards without creation of waste by-products. The goal of Probex is to become a world leader in the collection and reprocessing of used lubricating oils into premium quality base lube oils through timely commercialization of its ProTerra technology.

Financial Summary
PRB is an energy technology company that has begun commercialization of its proprietary re-refining technology (ProTerra(TM)). ProTerra technology is used for the purification, recycling and upgrading of used lubricating oils. For the nine months ended 6/01, revenues totaled $11.3 million, up from $1 million. Net loss applicable to Common totaled $13.3 million, up from $3.5 million. Results reflect acquisitions, offset by the addition of resources and staff, and higher debt levels.
