Business Summary
Potters Financial Corporation is a unitary savings and loan holding company incorporated in 1995. The Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Potters Bank, is a state-chartered savings bank and provides financial products and services through its three offices in and near East Liverpool, Ohio and a loan production office in Boardman, Ohio. Primary lending products are residential and commercial real estate loans, home equity lines of credit, and commercial and consumer loans. Substantially all loans are secured by specific collateral. In addition to loans, funds are invested in securities, a portfolio of which is maintained for liquidity management purposes. Lending activities are primarily funded through deposits. Primary deposit products include a variety of checking, savings and certificate of deposit accounts.

Financial Summary
PTRS is a unitary savings and loan holding Co. for Potters Savings and Loan Company, which originates real estate loans in OH and WV. For the six months ended 6/01, total interest income rose 1% to $5.6 million. Net interest income after loan loss prov. fell less than 1% to $1.3 million. Net income rose 93% to $738 thousand. Net interest income reflects higher loan levels, offset by increased deposits. Earnings reflect the absence of a $448 thousand cashier's check loss.
