Business Summary
American Land Lease, Inc. is a real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company is a self-administered and self-managed company in the business of owning, acquiring, developing and managing manufactured home communities. As of December 31, 2000, the Company held interests as owner or ground lessee in 33 manufactured home communities and one recreational vehicle park with a total of 6,350 operational homesites, 1,291 developed homesites, 1,761 undeveloped homesites and 129 recreational vehicle sites. These properties contain, on average, 289 sites, with the largest property containing 1,133 homesites. These properties offer residents a range of amenities, including swimming pools, clubhouses, golf courses and tennis courts. In addition, the Company manages two communities for third-party owners.

Financial Summary
American Land Lease is a REIT that holds interest in 30 manufactured home communities with 5,768 operational homesites, 3,050 expansion sites, and 129 RV sites. For the six months ended 6/30/01, total revenue rose 22% to $20.1 million. Net income rose from $904 thousand to $4.8 million. Results reflect higher rental revenue and increased homesales activity. Net income also reflects a $4 million gain on the sale of real estate and the absence of $1 million in management contract amortization charges.
