The Company has identified its operating business segments as the Corporate Banking Business and the Personal Banking Business. The Corporate Banking Business provides services to business customers in the Company's market area. These services include, but are not limited to, commercial real estate and construction loans, asset-based financing and cash management/deposit services. It services all loans in its business. The Personal Banking Business provides services to consumers in the Company's market area through its branch and ATM network. These services include, but are not limited to, home equity loans, installment loans, safe deposit boxes and an array of deposit services.

Financial Summary
WRNB, a holding co. for Warren Five Cents Savings Bank, is engaged in the businesses of attracting wholesale deposits from the general public and investing those deposits. For the six months ended 6/30/01, total interest income rose 6% to $17.0 million. Net interest income after loan loss provision rose 4% to $10.0 million. Net income rose 21% to $3.8 million. Results reflect increased earning assets, partially offset by lower interest spreads. Earnings reflect gains on mortgage loans.
