Financial Summary
Interplay Entertainment develops, publishes and distributes interactive entertainment software for both core gamers and the mass market, for use on both PCs and video game consoles, such as the PlayStation and Nintendo 64. For the six months ended 6/30/01, net revenues fell 25% to $32.1 million. Net loss applicable to Common totaled $21.7 million, up from $7.5 million. Results reflect the release of fewer titles and lower margins due to increased amortization of royalties.
