Financial Summary
R.G. Barry Corporation is engaged in the design, manufacture and marketing of specialized comfort footwear for men, women and children. For the 26 weeks ended 6/30/01, net sales decreased 9% to $42.5 million. Net loss increased 67% to $4.9 million. Revenues reflect decreased volume of low margin, out-of-season, close-out merchandise. Net loss reflects the absence of $4.5 million in litigation proceeds.
