Business Summary
Dental/Medical Diagnostic Systems Inc. designs, develops, assembles and markets high technology dental equipment and related consumables. The Company's best selling product during 2000 was the tooth curing and whitening device known as the Apollo. The Company also markets and sells a line of whitening gels known as Apollo Secret for use with the Apollo. In addition, the Company manufactures and sells intraoral camera systems, and a multi-operatory intraoral camera system, known as the InTELInet, for use in connection with its intraoral cameras. The Company's current customers are dentists in the domestic and international marketplace. The Company has also released a tooth whitening kit for use in the home that is sold directly to consumers through infomercials. In July 2001, the Company announced that, after it failed to reach accommodation with its lender, which foreclosed on virtually all of its assets, it will file a Chapter 7 bankruptcy case before the end of the month.

Dental/Medical Diagnostic Systems develops, manufactures and sells high technology dental equipment, with the primary emphasis on an intraoral camera system and a dental office networking system for use in connection with the camera system. For the fiscal year ended 12/31/00, sales fell 45% to $21 million. Net loss applicable to Common before accounting change totaled $19 million, up from $6.7 million. Results reflect reduced Apollo sales and a $2.9 million stock conversion charge.
