Business Summary
Enbridge, Inc. is engaged in energy transportation, distribution and services. Transportation includes the movement of crude oil and other hydrocarbons by pipeline through the ownership and/or operation of various pipeline systems located in Canada, the United States and Colombia. Distribution consists primarily of the distribution of natural gas and is conducted mainly through utility operations serving central and eastern Ontario. Energy services include retail appliance and rental operations as well as mass-market and commercial contractor services. The Company's business is divided into Liquids Pipelines, Gas Distribution, International, Gas Pipelines and New Business Development and Energy Services.

Financial Summary
ENBR is engaged in the transportation and distrubution of energy. The activities include the movement of crude oil and other hydrocarbons and the distribution of natural gas. For the six months ended 6/01, revenues rose 44% to C$2.59 billion. Net income applicable to Common rose 28% to C$353.9 million. Results reflect increased energy distribution and services revenues, partially offset by increased gas costs and higher administrative expenses.
