Business Summary
InfoSpace, Inc. provides international commerce and consumer infrastructure services on wireless, wireline and broadband platforms. The Company provides its services to merchants across multiple platforms simultaneously, including personal computers (PCs) and non-PC devices, such as screen telephones, television set-top boxes and online kiosks, which use ground wire Internet connections (wireline devices); and wireless devices, such as cell phones, pagers and personal digital assistants. The Company is also preparing to enter the market for infrastructure services that take greater advantage of high-speed (known as broadband) wireline and wireless Internet connections, such as interactive gaming, television and other entertainment services. At year-end 2000, the Company's affiliate network was comprised of more than 3,200 Websites, including America Online, Microsoft's MSN, NBCi, Lycos and ABC's LocalNet.

Financial Summary
InfoSpace, Inc. is a global provider of cross-platform merchant and consumer infrastructure services on wireless, broadband, and communication platforms. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues rose 9% to $97.5 million. Net loss before accounting change rose 45% to $192.1 million. Revenues reflect a continued increase in the number of wireless subscribers. Higher loss reflects lower gross margins and increased amortization of intangibles.
