PROFILE Tikal Resources searches for oil and gas far from the namesake, exotic Mayan pyramid in Guatemala. Formerly Cirque Energy, Tikal explores for oil and gas in western Canada and in the UK. The company has proved reserves of 10.3 billion cu. ft. of natural gas, along with 1.2 million barrels of oil and natural gas liquids.
