PROFILE Meggitt doesn't mind being a target for the bad guys. The company's aerospace segment makes towed and unmanned aerial targets -- which act as decoys for enemy fire -- for militaries in about 30 countries worldwide. The aerospace segment (about 75% of sales) also produces avionics (altimeters, fuel and oil quantity transmitters, and flight-display systems) and ducting systems. Meggitt's electronic components and systems segment (about 25% of sales) produces sensors (including pressure transducers and fuel-level sensors) for the flight-testing, medical, automotive, and consumer electronics industries.
