PROFILE |
 |
Angels don't bottle Christian Brothers brandy, Heaven Hill does. One of Kentucky's oldest and largest distilling operations, Heaven Hill Distilleries makes Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage Bourbon, a leading bourbon whiskey (after such labels as Fortune Brands' Jim Beam). In addition to its flagship brand, Heaven Hill makes superpremium bourbons under the names Elijah Craig and Henry McKenna. It also bought the Christian Brothers brandy and Old Fitzgerald bourbon lines from Diageo. The company distributes vodka, gin, rum, tequila, and Canadian and blended whiskeys made by others and sold under the Heaven Hill brand. Founded in 1935 by five Shapira brothers, Heaven Hill is still owned by the Shapira family.
