PROFILE |
 |
Tnuva supplies the milk in the land of milk and honey, and, as Israel's largest food company, it has no trouble keeping its dairy and meat divisions separate. Tnuva's dairy division supplies 70% of Israel's fluid and cultured milk products, butter, and cheeses. The company's other food divisions are major processors and suppliers of chicken, fish, meats, eggs, and produce. A real estate division manages the firm's holdings. Tnuva also has an interest in Sunfrost, Israel's #1 frozen food company. Owned by 620 kibbutzim and moshavim -- farming collectives and cooperatives, Tnuva has voted to shed its cooperative status and incorporate.
