PROFILE Apasco always has a few concrete ideas for its customers. The company operates cement and ready-mix concrete plants throughout Mexico, where it follows #1 cement maker Cemex. Apasco also sells aggregates (gravel, sand) and chemical additives. Apasco has about 85 concrete plants, 20 distribution centers, six cement plants, and three maritime terminals. It also operates a concrete research center and a home builders program for people building their own homes. Cement distributors and other commercial customers can work directly with Apasco through the Internet. In addition to Mexico, the company has operations in El Salvador and Honduras.
