PROFILE Golden Eagle International has yet to spread its wings and fly. The company is developing its 74,000-acre Cangalli gold property 100 miles north of La Paz, Bolivia. Golden Eagle has not established proven or probable reserves, despite having made earlier claims of a multibillion-dollar gold find in Cangalli. Those claims caused president Terry Turner to be investigated for securities fraud; he was, however, cleared by a federal district judge. The company continues to invest in mining operations and to purchase existing claims in the Cangalli region. It also seeks joint venture partners.
