Ranked among the world leaders in the production of steel tubing, Vallourec caters to the needs of the oil and gas, automotive, and power generation industries through its two main divisions, Valtubes and Sopretac. With operations worldwide, Vallourec and its some 50 subsidiaries, also manufacture welded wire mesh, bearing rings, and automotive components such as axle assemblies. About 75% of the company's products are sold outside France. Mannesmannrohren-Werke owns about 21% of Vallourec and is the partner in its seamless steel tube business.
