PROFILE At the center of CenTra is Manuel Moroun, who controls the holding company founded by his father, Tufick, in the 1940s. CenTra's holdings include Central Transport International, a privately held less-than-truckload carrier with 150 terminals, and Central Global Express, an air freight forwarder. Along with Canadian affiliate Central-McKinlay International, the trucking firm serves major markets in North America. CenTra also owns a minority stake in Chandler Insurance, which US courts have required it to divest.
