Weatherford International, Inc. is a provider of equipment and services used for the drilling, completion and production of oil and natural gas wells. The Company's business is divided into three principal operating divisions, Drilling and Intervention Services, which provides drilling services and equipment rental, well installation services, cementing products and underbalanced drilling and specialty pipeline services, Completion Systems, which offers a wide range of completion products and services and Artificial Lift Systems, which provides all forms of artificial lift used for the of oil and gas. It also provides products and services that optimize and automate well-production management.

Financial Summary
Weatherford International is a manufacturer and supplier of oilfield equipment and contract drilling services. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues increased 34% to $1.10 billion. Net income from continuing operations totalled $99.9 million, up from $23.2 million. Revenues reflect an increase in worldwide rig activities. Net income reflects new technology applications, improved pricing, and greater utilization of the worldwide infrastructure.
