RTW, Inc. and its wholly owned insurance subsidiary, American Compensation Insurance Company (ACIC), provide comprehensive management products and disability management services to employers for their workers' compensation programs. The Company has developed two proprietary management systems, the RTW Solution, designed to lower employers' workers' compensation costs and return injured employees to work as soon as possible, and the ID15 system, designed to identify those injured employees who are likely to get stuck in the workers' compensation system. The Company targets employers and associations that operate in industries with relatively high workers' compensation costs, including the manufacturing, retail, wholesale, healthcare and hospitality industries, and employers with a history of workers' compensation claim costs higher than average in their industry.

Financial Summary
RTW, Inc. provides comprehensive management products and services to employers for their workers' compensation programs in MN, WI, SD, CO, MO, IL, KS, MI, IN, MA, CT, RI and NH. For the three months ended 3/31/01, total revenues increased 32% to $26.6 million. Net income decreased 51% to $777 thousand. Revenues reflect a $2.1 million refund from the Workers Compensation Reinsurance Association of Minnesota. Net income reflects increased claim settlements.
