Business Summary
Camden Property Trust is a real estate investment trust that owns, develops, constructs and manages multifamily apartment communities in the Southwest, Southeast, Midwest and Western regions of the United States. As of December 31, 2000, the Company owned interests in and operated 145 multifamily properties containing 51,336 apartment homes located in nine states. These properties had a weighted average occupancy rate of 94% during 2000. This represents the average occupancy for all its properties in 2000 weighted by the number of apartment homes in each property. Additionally, three of its multifamily properties containing 1,538 apartment homes were under development at December 31, 2000.

Financial Summary
CPT, and its subsidiaries, own, develop, acquire, manage, market, and dispose of multifamily apartment communities in the Southwest, Southeast and Midwest regions of the U.S. For the six months ended 6/30/01, revenues rose 5% to $209.9 million. Net income applicable to Common rose 42% to $33.1 million. Revenues reflect higher rental income due to a stabilized real estate portfolio and higher average rental rates. Earnings also reflect gains on sales of properties.
