iVillage Inc. operates an online network of sites tailored to the interests and needs of women and is engaged in the development of programming material for distribution through online service providers and the Internet. For the six months ended 6/30/01, total revenues fell 36% to $24 million. Net loss from continuing operations fell 39% to $12.2 million. Results reflect continued weakness in online advertising, offset by lower amortization costs and investment write-downs.
