The SACM Student Choice Professor of the Year Award

Description

Each year the students' choice of "best teaching faculty" in the department is awarded the prestigious SACM COW award. The winner receives a certificate, the travelling COW trophy for the year, and their name on the COW Award Plaque in the departmental trophy case on the fifth floor.

Each CS student, either graduate or undergraduate, is allowed one vote. The criteria is "classroom teaching" only, NOT advising, NOT research. The award is supposed to be fun, hence the name, but at the same time, it is a serious acknowledgment of good teaching.

Your vote must be received by noon on Wednesday, May 2nd. The COW award will be presented as part of the departmental awards ceremony on Friday, May 4th.
