Declaring the CS Major To declare the Computer Science major, you must meet with a member of the Undergraduate Advising Committee. There, you will work out a course plan and file a Declaration of Major form. Before meeting with the advisor: Get a copy of your UW-Madison transcript to bring to the meeting. Download the CS course plan form and fill out as much as you can before the meeting. Here are some instructions for preparing the course plan. You may also consult the CS undergraduate major requirements to help decide what courses to take. If you have difficulty completing the course plan form, ask your questions when you meet with the CS advisor. Download the Letters & Science major declaration form and fill out as much as you can before the meeting. Remember to bring your transcript, the CS course plan form, and the L&S major declaration form to the meeting.
