Bolo's Pilot Certificates
I currently hold the following certificates and licenses
- Commercial Pilot's License with the following ratings:
- Airplane Single and Multi Engine Land,
- Instrument Airplane
- CFI Certified Flight Instructor
- Airplane Single Engine,
- Airplane Multi Engine, and
- Instrument Airplane
- CGI Certified Ground Instructor
- Advanced Ground Instructor
- Instrument Ground Instructor
It looks likea long impressive list, but compared to people with
certificates in different kind of aircraft, type ratings, etc
it is really quite small.
For me it represents the achievment of goals in Aviation set
much higher than I would ever have dreamed when I
started to fly airplanes.
I have more hours that I ever thought I would fly in my life, (1000,
one-thousand as of Nov 2004).. and it looks like my experience will
keep on increasing steadily at this point.
I remember the first time I went flying quite
a bit ... and yet I don't remember the actual flight all that
much.
While I was in grade school my class was taken for what is most likely
a demo flight at the Wausau Downtown Airport.
I remember everybody getting loaded into what was most likely a
C-172, and I was put in the co-pilot's seat.
I remember it so much, even though everything else faded away.
This is a work in progress, just added this paragraph in january
2005 and gotta run.
I've moved my text on the recent history of my flying
to its own page.
It discusses my return to active flying
starting in 2000, and moving forward from there.
