I've collected opinions from several knowledgeable people, so you can be absoloutely sure that everything I write here is the absoloute facts, and that my grammar is always absoloutely correct. If you haven't watched Austin Powers yet, you should probably check my page regularly for updates so that when you do see it you'll know what to expect.
Sunday December 20, 1998 | Hari and I are both big fans of the scene where Dr Evil is telling the counselling group about his childhood. What the hell are Meat helmets?! |
Monday December 21, 1998 | Jon especially likes the part where Austin and Vanessa are checking into the hotel and Austin says things like "before I'm on the job I like to give my undercarriage a bit of a 'how's your father'". Personally, before Jon told me what he was saying I totally missed that line. |
Tuesday December 22, 1998 | Alberto likes the part where Dr Evil walks through the automatic sliding doors and they close on his butt. |
Wednesday December 23, 1998 | The scene where Dr Evil and his toadies are sitting around their table and Dr Evil presses the Mustafa button, and Mustafa gets sucked into the floor but doesn't die is really funny. The lucky charms/irish assassian joke is in that scene too. |
Thursday December 24, 1998 | The scene at the start of the film after Austin is unfrozen and they're giving him all his clothes and old stuff back is very funny. Especially the book. |
