Ok, this isn't actually my resume or a detailed list of my contributions
to the human race since birth. If you want specifics, you'll have
to contact me.
I'm a sixth-year undergraduate, majoring in computer science and Japanese here at the fine University of Wisconsin - Madison. I plan on graduating this May with a BS (double major.) I like dachshunds, and I have a shiny black electric-acoustic guitar. I am an INTJ. |

This summer I interned for the fantastic TRIM group at Intel.
I just gave up my labbie position at the Computer Systems Lab (CSL) so that I could pursue web development in all my non-study, part-time work time. (Yes, I'm looking for web design work!) What I'd really like to do this year is webmaster a server part time. I've been teaching myself to administer Apache and IIS web servers and I've got some experience working with both of them.
I don't see anywhere to put this, but this is the page linking to the elevator simulator, so I'm going to put a link to the longest common subsequence algorithm I did for 577 this semester here too. Come on, haven't you always wanted to find out what your favorite sequences really had in common?
If there's not enough Microsoft in your life, please let me refer you to the Microsoft student on-campus consultant page. I resigned from this program last year so I could spend more time on my homework in CS 537 and 538 and eighth semester Japanese. (Check out Matt and my solution to the Java assignment for 538-- an elevator simulator. Or, check out the list of Operating Systems rules as handed down by Professor Miller in 537.)
I used to work on the Institute for Chemical Education (ICE) home page.

Maybe you'd like to see the CRA Distributed Mentor Project Home Page, which I set up and used to help maintain.
If I were a political person, I'd try to cram this down your throat. It's that good of an idea. For more information about my activities and employment history, email me at caitlin at cs dot wisc dot edu for a resume. |
