Implementation of Summary-Cache Enhanced ICP

  Based on the simulation results, we propose the following Summary-Cache Enhanced Internet Cache Protocol as an optimization of ICP. The protocol has been implemented in a prototype built on top of Squid 1.1.14 and the prototype is publicly available [15]. A variant of our approach called Cache Digest is also implemented in Squid 1.2b20 [44].
