• Lecture 3: We covered historical ciphers (Vignere and mono-alphabetic) and various attacks on them. We also covered various categories of attacks (e.g., chosen plaintext).

• Lecture 4: We covered principles that guide the design of modern cryptographic systems. We started perfect secrecy and gave two equivalent definitions of perfect secrecy.
