For cae only access, just name the directory "cae-auth".
For uw only access, just name the directory "uw-only".
For other custom access, use the htpasswd program. Refer to Restricting Access to CAE Personal Homepages (kb.wisc.edu/cae/page.php?id=13536). For user and password management, a htpasswd password file should be created and managed in the root directory. In this case, the root directory is "/public_html" and the password file is "/public_html/nothing".
