We encourage you to work in teams of two.
Answer the following questions:
What are SCADA systems?
Give three examples of "critical infrastructure" where SCADA systems are used.
What is a malware "dropper"?
What is a "zero day"?
What is an "air gap"?
What is an "beaconing"?
What is an "exfiltrating"?
Describe the attack surface used in Stuxnet.
What is different about this type of attack from previously published ones.
What was the goal of Stuxnet?
How did it mask its affect?
Hand in Instructions
Prepare a single PDF file containing the answers the above questions.
Make sure that each answer is labeled with the letter of the question.
Hand in a single copy of your answers (one per team of 2).
Include all your names and NetIDs at the top of the document.
Note that the due date and time is a hard deadline.
No late work will be accepted.
(That means don't try to upload your answers 5 minutes before the deadline.)
