extends java.lang.Object

An Image object contains the name of the file containing the image, a title (possibly null), and a positive integer indicating the length of time (duration) the image should be displayed in seconds. Do not modify anything in this file (except possibly displayPicture() if you know what you are doing)

Constructor Detail

Image

public Image(java.lang.String fileName)

Creates a new Image object with specified file name. The durations is initially 5; title is null string

Parameters:

fileName - the name of the file containing the image.

Image

             int duration)

Creates a new Image object with specified file name, durations and title.

Parameters:

fileName - the name of the file containing the image.

title - the title (or caption) of the image.

duration - the duration of the image's display.

getFile

Returns the file name associated with this image.

getDuration

public int getDuration()

Returns the duration for this image (in seconds).

Returns:

the duration for this image (in seconds)

getTitle

public java.lang.String getTitle()

Returns the title of this image.

Returns:

the title of this image.

setDuration

public void setDuration(int duration)

Sets the duration for this image to the one given.

Parameters:

duration - the new duration (in hundreths of seconds) for this photo

setTitle

public void setTitle(java.lang.String title)

Sets the title of this image.

Parameters:

title - the new title for this photo

toString

public java.lang.String toString()

Returns the string representation of this image in the form:

title [file_name ,duration]

If title is null we use:

file_name [duration]

Overrides:

toString in class java.lang.Object

Returns:

The string representation of this photo.

displayImage

public void displayImage()
                  throws java.lang.InterruptedException

Displays the image specified by fileName in a JFrame window. The file must be in a top-level folder named images. The title of the window is the field title. The window is displayed for duration seconds.

Throws:

java.lang.InterruptedException
