CS 536, Fall 2004

Exams are closed book. You may bring one 8.5" x 11" page of notes. For the midterm exam, the page may have notes on one side of the page only. For the final exam, you may use both side of the page. The notes may be either printed or hand written. You must turn in your page of notes with your exam.

Midterm Exam

The midterm exam covers the material through the end of lecture on October 14 (i.e. everything up to, but not including, symbol tables). You are responsible for the material covered in:

lectures
on-line notes
programs 1, 2, and 3
homeworks 1 and 2

Final Exam

The final exam focuses on the material since the midterm, although you will be responsible for the basic ideas of scanning and parsing. You are responsible for the material covered in:

lectures
on-line notes
programs (focusing on programs 4 and 5)
homeworks (focusing on homework 3)
