Project Inspiration
My parents' stock lawn mower hitch is about 7" too high. When driving around with a wagon, the wagon looks like it is dumping, which looks pretty dumpy. So we had to come up with a solution. My dad made a cardboard model of what he wanted and I made the product.
*Unpictured* is me learning how to use a metal hole punching and chopping machine at Sector67 in Madison.
I had to learn how to weld for this project.
After grinding off all the excess weld, the next thing to grind out was painting!
A perfect fit!
The stock hitch was bent upwards. After a couple of heavy loads of dirt, we are hoping the hitch will bend down into perfect shape. None the less, the hitch works as expected!
